Nancy Crawford Passing

Nancy Crawford passed away after a year–long fight with cancer. You can read her early account of this on her blog. This website will be kept up as part of her legacy. Other components will be ongoing exhibitions of her work, a park bench with her name on the Fort to Fort trail in Fort Langley, B.C. and the Nancy Crawford Memorial Scholarship, which will provide a cash award to an outstanding student of her former senior visual art program at the Langley Fine Arts School. If you would like to donate to the scholarship, thank you, please use the button below.

Creating Opportunities for Creativity – TEDx Talk   In January of 2016 I was given the opportunity to do a TEDx talk as part of an initiative of the Langley School District. It was an amazing opportunity for me to learn and grow, and I really enjoyed meeting the other presenters and hearing their talks as part of that outstanding day. This talk explores 3 actions that people can take to ignite their personal creativity that are deceptively simple, often counter intuitive, and most definitely run in opposition to our current cultural conditioning.

Getting In! Book CoversIn the spring on 2015, I published my first book, Getting In! The Ultimate Guide to Creating an Outstanding Portfolio, Earning Scholarships, and Securing Your Spot at Art School. In that book I share success strategies for artists in a process that my students describe as life changing and provide a clear framework outlining how to become the ideal art school candidate, create with passion and enjoy the process.
